This course has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Instead of designing things according to what looks pretty I now know exactly why and how to make it “just work”. I am way more confident in my designs. I also know so many fundamental principles cutting away so many hours of playing around till it looks right. Malky, I can never thank you enough for creating this amazing course which hopefully will help me and many others grow and succeed in this field.

The me before DesignPro and the me after, are world's apart. Before I even heard of DesignPro, I was in the graphic field for 5 years. I spent those years taking numerous courses, collecting certificates, and yet I was able to count the amount of clients I had on one hand. I was lacking a ton of confidence and professional skill. When DesignPro advertised, I ran for it, albeit a little uncertain, wondering if this will be yet another course which will teach me a little more, but not more than that. I thought a course that includes building skill, confidence and professionalism doesn't exist. Well, all I can say is, that before I even completed the course, I was doing work for real clients, applied for jobs and started working at a graphic agency! Each lesson was so clear, engaging and taught me things I had never even heard of. I left every lesson thinking, 'I want more, I want more, I want more.' After being on the lesson live, I watched the videos again and again! My only regret? Not taking this course earlier than I did.

There's so much more to being a designer than learning the programs. There is learning how to make those stunning visuals, learning how to run a business + client management... There were so many things that I always wished to learn that I was not taught in design school.
Through DesignPro, I learned so much more than what I signed up for! The day finally came that I wasn't scared when I saw a blank artboard in front of me, when I felt confident about my designs, when my heart was not going on a mini roller coaster when clients called...

I signed up for this course as an amateur designer (freelancing for two years). I was eager to up my game and learn the tips from a professional. I could not have envisioned how much material, resources, and information could possibly be packed into a 4 month course. I am completely blown away by the multi-faceted, all-inclusiveness of DesignPro! From design principles to brand strategy to marketing, everything possible (plus much more!) was all presented in a clear, organized fashion. Before I knew it, I found myself enrolled and counting down to the classes. The course gave me the confidence that I'm now able to take on real clients and do projects on my own. All the assignments, critiqued so amazingly by Malky, were super helpful and really taught me how to use all the information to reach perfection! Design Pro taught me all the theory I had to know in order to take my designing up a few levels, the branding process which I thoroughly enjoyed and all about business and marketing. I created my own branding for a real company and got Malky's thorough and individual guidance and critique. Malky's got a talent to make every participant feel like the only one. I signed up for Design Pro because I was a designer who was designing randomly, without any rhyme or reason. I was freelancing, sometimes busy, sometimes not so busy. Design Pro changed my design career direction. I'm not happy to just freelance and do odd jobs for people anymore. I want a website and I want a full blown. design business. I was a designer with many years of experience in playing around on my own. I had many clients and loved what I did. In the past my approach to graphic design was creating anything eye-pleasing-something that "looks" good. Malky's highly professional course gave me a new dimension into the design world. She taught us how to create projects that TALK. Her crystal clear method to achieving that has not only up-leveled my new projects but also makes the design process so much easier! Before taking the course I knew Adobe programs, a little bit of design theory, and designed here and there, but I felt I was missing something. I found DesignPro really helpful in the business aspects, because it doesn't just help to learn design, this course really showed me how to set myself up and really get out there. Of course, the actual design strategy lessons were really well given over, and I love it that I have all the lessons, and files we used, so I can review it myself even once the course is finished. I now have more design knowledge, and I can understand why certain things need to be included, or more likely, shouldn't be included, and how to use design aspects, etc. I feel a lot more confident with my skills, and I'm looking forward to practicing on a friend! I was starting out as a designer. Though I was ok with the programs, I was looking for more. In DesignPro, I was also introduced to the branding process and I will never look at logo design the same way again. What I gained the most in all areas was the idea of strategic design — that each piece in any type of design is there for a reason, and the specific skills and processes necessary to achieve it. Now, I know I can't just place things and decide on colors/shapes/layouts based on what looks good, they all have to make sense and work for whatever the design is trying to achieve. I definitely approach designing differently now! I also really enjoyed and looked forward to the classes — they were interesting and clear, and I love all the resources and cheat sheets, plus the pdf file of each lesson. The bonus masterclasses were also really amazing and beneficial. Thank you so much for a really amazing experience!
