Before DesignPro:

I used to do camp ads and small jobs for family members. Here and there I’d get a regular business client, but the most I was ever compensated for was $350 tops. And I thought that was normal! I kept thinking it was all because I wasn’t on social media, and I was frustrated because that’s something that’s not going to change.

What changed?

Things are totally different now. I went from doing graphics to really doing graphics, and I have a confidence I never had before. I’m doing branding and working with copywriters. The course was the main thing that jumped my career. For the first time, I started getting jobs when clients heard about me through the tiny email address they saw on the sides of my new ads which were more professional than ever before.

Where are you now?

I regularly sign 4-figure clients in my freelancing business, and I command a high hourly rate at the company I work for. Regular clients are paying me more than they used to because they see the value and the strategy I give them. One company even hired me specifically based on my DesignPro portfolio! And all this is still without using social media!

I wouldn’t suggest that anyone go into graphics without taking Malky’s course first.

Before DesignPro:

I had trained in an expensive course, so I already knew how to design. But I just didn’t feel confident in my work. I kept wondering, does this even look right? Will they like it? ‍After taking a bunch of free business and branding courses, and of course, non-stop Googling, I still felt like it wasn’t enough.
